ICARUS SURFCLUB

WHAT ?

The EX-Rustyhouse/EX-AnimalSurfclub is a surfclub, but much more than just another surfclub... It’s a place where people with the same passion about surfin’ and beachvibe hang out. The idea is to bring everyone: windsurfers, kitesurfers, surfers, snowboarders, skateboarders, wakeboarders,… together and have a good time and the funny thing is, the idea has already become reality.

As one of the oldest surfclubs on the beach in Belgium –founded in 1985- we are known as the place to be when it comes down to no-nonsense surfin’ and partyin’. To keep our reputation high (on every area), we put a team together. Young guns and old legends -known as ‘The A-Militia’- represent the surfclub on every event and competition. The club is based on the beach of Zeebruges at the Northsea. We are open every day from April ‘till November.

The accommodation exists of a wooden clubhouse with 2 big terraces (260m2), a roofterrace and a trendy bar. In the space just next to the bar, the jet scooter and quad, used for security, are stored. Our purpose is to have a clubhouse that is run by riders for riders, where everyone feels at home and can practice their favourite sport, watch a movie and have a drink.
